May 25 is African Liberation Day (ALD), a national holiday in many African countries that celebrates the founding of the Organization of African Unity in 1963.
DC’s main ALD activities appear to be set for tomorrow at the Emergence Community Arts Collective. On May 25th, an event at Howard University will explore ‘Economics for African Liberation.’
